Green Street Intro - analysis

This is the intro for the film 'Green Street', which is based on hooliganism in football and follows around a set of West Ham fans. The opening scene shows Matt (played by Elijah Wood) travelling to London from America. He is seen central in most shots so the audience focus on him, but the opening also creates an enigma as the audience will not know who he is, due to the lack of dialogue, which means that the audience are going to have to watch on to find out who he is and where he is going. I will be using this in my opening with no dialogue, instead using the sound of football fans and music to create a certain atmosphere.
